Queer Zines
To celebrate LGBTQIA+ History Month we want to shine a spotlight on our queer zines. Zines are vehicles for art, to connect with a community or subculture, and to help elevate voices that aren’t often heard. The LGBTQIA+ community have embraced zines as a way to share culture and heritage but also for activism and protest, especially within the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
NUA is proud to have a collection of queer zines, which we are always keen to build.
If you would like to donate your zine (on any subject) or want to find out more about zines, please see our zines page.
